Aid made available by Sri Lankans employed abroad to people at Kalupahana Watta at Bulathkohupitiya, who were affected by the earth slips that occurred recently due to severe weather experienced in the areas, was distributed by ‘Ethera Api’ organization.

The affected people are still living in tents and they were presented with kitchenware bought from funds sent by members of ‘Ethera Api’ organization.

The JVP organizer for Kegalle District former Parliamentarian Gamini Ratnayaka, JVP Parliamentarian Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and the General Secretary of ‘Ethera Api’ Organization Provincial Council Member Luxman Nipunarachchi were present.

Among the good distributed were beds, mattresses, gas cylinders, school equipment and children’s needs.
